This session includes the following:
- A masterclass into 'How to raise finance for indie films'.
- Identifying investors, grants, awards and all finance to make a film happen
- An insight into how the industry works
- The skills required to enter or progress within the industry
- An insight into the experiences of those that are currently working in the sector
- Attendees will be able to participate in a Q&A session with the speakers

Rachel Dargavel has been involved in film-making at various levels for over 10 years.
In 2009, she worked as the line producer on the Paul Andrew Williams’ film, CHEERY TREE LANE (2010), produced by Steel Mill Pictures and sold by the Salt company.
Rachel has produced promos and commercials for 'Warp', 'Partizan', 'Umg' and 'Somesuchandco' amongst others and now works as a producer at Steel Mill Pictures.
In 2010, she co produced A SONG FOR MARION starring Terence Stamp and Gemma Arteton. In 2013, Rachel was the Associate Producer on Jon S Baird's adaptation of the Irvine Welsh novel FILTH, which won a BAFTA and BIFA for James McAvoy's performance. She was the Line Producer on 45 YEARS, starring Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtney, which is in compeition at the Berlin Film Festival in February.
Rachel's latest film as a producer, NORFOLK has just been selected for the International Film Festival Rotterdam.

The Creative Hub is a European Funded Project for those who meet the following criteria:
- Small to medium sized creative product businesses in Film and TV. Retailers need not apply.
- Business must be a registered company or sole trader.
- Business must employ less than 250 employees and trade from London.
You will need to provide the following Information:
- Completed SME registration form
- Sole Traders only: An original HMRC document which shows your UTR number (usually a 10 digit number) name and address. Photos are not accepted. If your HMRC document shows a different address you will also need to supply one of the following: Invoices, delivery notes, business bank account statements or utility bill addressed to the business. These will need to be no older than six months and show your business name and new address.
