| About: | This training course was designed to help HoDs with interview technique and preparation of supporting materials for presenting at interview. Crew members applied for spaces on this course in order to help them with the fine margins at the interview stage. We ran a 5 stage training programme. Firstly, we wanted to understand the individual HoDs and tailor each step towards improving their research, presentation and impact at the interview itself. Our first step was for us to interrogate them about their experiences and areas they wanted to improve. We followed that up with a 60 minute Q&A with a Producer, HoP and Agent to discuss the interview process from their side. Each individual then participated in 2 mock interviews with Producer and trainer Alison B Matthews, these were 1:1 interviews with feedback in between. We then paired up each HoD with a production exec to work on their CV and provide career guidance and support and the training ended on a mood board presentation workshop. |
