Masterclass talk: Richard Laxton, Director
Richard Laxton is a BAFTA and RTS nominated director who began his directing career in 1993. Richard’s feature film credits include ‘Life and Lyrics’ & ‘Grow your own’ . Richard Directed every episode of the BAFTA winning sitcom, ‘Him & Her’ Starring Sarah Solemani and Russell Tovey.
Richard has recently directed the biopic ‘Burton and Taylor’ for the BBC, two episodes of ‘Fortitude’ for Sky Atlantic and was the lead director of ‘River’ for Big Talk/BBC.
Throughout a diverse career, Richard has directed the likes of Emma Thompson, John Hurt, Helena Bonham Carter, Stellan Skarsgard, Dominic West, Julie Walters, Michael Gambon, Stanley Tucci, Olivia Coleman, Maxine Peake, Andy Serkis and many more..
